RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
Building Regulations Drawings in South Hampshire
Detailed building regulations drawings for residential projects, including extensions, loft conversions and structural alterations across South Hampshire.
From Layout to Construction Detail
Building regulations drawings explain the construction details to building control and your builder, and provide a clear basis for builders’ quotes.
Once the final design is agreed, we complete the technical plans, including:
- Detailed Plans with relevant construction information.
- Sections and Details showing how floors, walls and roofs relate.
- Technical Notes covering the work within the agreed scope.
- Coordinated Structural Information for beams, openings or roof alterations where required.
We include structural calculations and building control notes in the technical design. Occasionally, particularly complex work may need input from a structural engineer.
Review and Submission
We review the full technical plans with you before submitting them to building control. We then act as your agent through the approval process. You pay the building control application fees.
Let us know if your requirements change during the design or if a builder is already involved.
Is Planning Permission Enough?
Planning permission and building regulations approval are separate; a project may need both. See the GOV.UK building regulations guide. We also make the planning submission where required once you are happy with the full technical plans.
